Focus on an inclusive life for persons with spinal cord injury

The Norwegian Spinal Cord Injury Registry (NorSCIR), The Norwegian Spinal Cord Injuries Association (LARS) and the three SCI units in Norway have in cooperation written an article to increase awareness about SCI. This article will be published the 5th of September in Today's Medicine, the largest independent news channel for health care. Today`s Medicine is an important forum for discussion among health care professionals and politicians and other decision makers in health care.

There will be organized a celebration at each SCI unit on SCI day.

The Norwegian Spinal Cord Injuries Association (LARS) will publish a press release to inform the general public about several ongoing projects for a more inclusive life for persons with a disability.

“Hunting for all” is a project focusing on giving disabled people access to hunting and fishing experiences. The “Cycling for all” project is a collaboration between LARS and the Norwegian Cycling Federation and the Norwegian Federation of Sports. The main focus in this collaboration is handbike cycling.  In addition LARS arranges several activities, meetings and conferences during the year, with typical SCI topics.
